Biker jacket is love

I've been craving for a biker jacket for who-knows-how-long and eventually I've got this babe!
First leather jackets appeared as protective garments for riders, but, of course, other people couldn't help noticing that this piece of clothes was so awesome:)
It's so easy to wear them, as they go well practically with everything!
Just try it on and it will be difficult to imagine your life without one.

Bowler hat, ladies and gentlemen

Sir Winston Churchill, Charlie Chaplin, and the Riddler from Batman... What did they have in common? That's right, a bowler hat!
Bowler hats were created back in the 1840s, when British soldier and politician William Coke ordered this kind of a hat for his gamekeepers. Before that they had worn top hats, but such a design allowed them to ride under low-hanging branches in the forest. At fisrt bowler hats were taken as a part of the work uniforms, until Edward VII made them fashionable.
I cannot imagine my wardrobe life without hats! Without them almost every outfit seems boring and unfinished and I can't do anything about that.

Let's talk about cardigans

Cardigans seem to be perfect for autumn weather. When it's not very cold yet to wear coats and it's already not so warm as it was in summer, throwing on a cardigan is the best solution.
Cardigans were named so after a British officer James Thomas Brudenell, the 7th Earl of Cardigan. Later this garment became very popular among fishermen in the 17th century, who wore it to keep warm. Who borrowed this piece from men's wardrobe into ladies' one? That's right, genious Coco.
It's a little bit unfair that with the latest passion for mom's jeans we started to forget about boyfriend jeans. So I've decided to change that by combining them with a brown hat, my favorite Cambridge Satchel bag, a tank top and, of course, the hero of the hour - cardigan. Hope yoy like the result.

New York in my dreams

Sometimes girls may fall in love with celebrities that they saw only in some pictures or in the screen. I have the same story with the city-of-my-dreams New York. However I've never dreamed to live there permanently, I just want to have a chance to visit it from time to time. I would be the happiest person in the world. So it's not difficult to guess why I adore this sweatshirt.
Originally used for doings sports, sweatshirts are worn nowadays practically with everyting: pencil skirts, classical pumps or over some girlish dresses. Piece that you really must have in your wardrobe.

Blue shirt, denim skirt

Weather in Kyiv is very unpredictable nowadays. Today it may be very warm and on the next day you already want to put on you as much clothes as you can. So you always have to be prepared for any kind of weather conditions:)
This outfit is quite summerish, so to say. Which is very logical, considering it's autumn already:D But what can I do, that's just me.

Autumn is here

Hello, autumn! Eventually, you are here:) Time for reading Vogue September Issue, wearing our favorite sweaters and oversized coats, spending cozy evenings with coffee in little cafes and waiting for golden leaves outside. Everything is just magical! (if you are positive enough not to think about negative sides of autumn, like long rains and cold wind:D)
In this outfit I combined top with transparent sleeves, gorgeous navy skirt (that I found on second hand and which became one of my favorite pieces in the wardrobe!) and my hat. Sometimes I think that I have too many outfits with this hat, but still I can't do anything about that. I'm helpless:)
Anyway, I wish you to have the best autumn ever!

Hat - Dots

Today is Friday and it means that most people will have their long-awaited weekend. Not me, however. I usually work on Saturdays, but I'm not complaining as I love my job:)
Recently I've really been into simple outfits like this one, for instance. Polka dot blouse, skinny jeans and my favorite hat. Well, and coffee-to-go in my hands, of course. Do you like coffee like I do?:)

Check pencil skirt

Have you ever noticed that your taste changes? I remember days when I refused wearing high-waisted jeans, because they were "too high":) And now I cannot imagine my life without my favorite pairs of mom's jeans.
The same with skirts - I've never been a fan of them, but recently I've started to wear them more and more. And the good thing here is that I feel pretty comfortable in them:)
It is said that the first designer who introduced the pencil skirt was Christian Dior. And although my skirt has nothing to do with Dior, I'm still in love with it.

Thanks for the photos to my friend Julia (who, by the way, drew the girl on the top of my blog:))

Stripes we all adore

My love to stripes is eternal. I cannot even imagine any pattern that is more perfect than this one! Back in history stripes were considered to be appropriate only for the lowest levels of society, like prisoners, hangmen or prostitutes. But fortunately everything has changed! One of the reasons why stripes started being taken as chic and ellegant was, of course, Coco Chanel. Once she saw sailors in their navy-and-white striped shirts and was inspired by that. So we can be definitely only thankful for that:)
With my beloved stripes I've decided to wear this green midi skirt, shoulder bag and my favorite cut out ankle boots.
Have a great week!

Black and Red

Hey there!:) I hope you are having some nice time this summer:) As I told before, I don't like summer, and one of the reasons for this is the fact, that I don't have holidays anymore. When I was in school or university summer was always associated with free time and doing nothing. Now, after finishing my university, I don't have this reason to love summer. I'm looking forward to the 1st of September, as for the last 15 years it will be the fisrt time when I don't need to go to my studyings. Another reason to love autumn:)
As for the outfit, I combined black 7/8 length cropped pants, red top with some mesh, one of my favorite pairs of shoes and golden details.
